Early last year the Directors decided to launch a scholarship awarded to final year arts students at four tertiary institutions. Monash, Melbourne, RMIT and Deakin University.

Lowensteins Art prizes: a 2017 winner
RMIT - Luisa Hansal
Luisa lost her younger brother tragically this year and went on to make work that dealt with the physical and emotional dimensions of loss in an unflinching and unsentimental way. She now has a studio at The Artery.
